Weddings
The motion, emotion, anticipation and excitement are just a few of the things I love about photographing wedding days. 14 years of experience helps put me in the right place at the right time, and my camera is constantly at my eye, waiting for the next genuine, raw moment. I’d love to buy you a coffee and talk about your wedding day plans.
Engagements
Engagement Sessions are included in all of my wedding packages. They’re my favorite way to get to know couples before their wedding, getting them comfortable in front of my camera and allowing me to capture their true connection. The vibe is no-rush, active, and fun. I typically schedule sessions to start about 2 hours before sunset, and they can be split up between multiple locations.
Families
With two little boys of my own, I know family photos with little ones can be a challenge! Family sessions are always a no-rush situation. I often start by letting kids play (usually playing with them!), while following them around with my camera, before moving on to posed shots. To keep kids’ attention, I will not hesitate to make a fool of myself! And when posed, “look here and smile” shots prove impossible (which is very rare), I try to capture families interacting naturally (running, playing, talking, tickle fights, etc.)
Senior Portraits and Graduates
Whether graduating from high school or earning a degree in higher education, this is such a huge accomplishment and an important moment in your life. Congratulations! Senior portrait and grad sessions are super fun, relaxed, outdoors, in the best light of the day.
Maternity
I approach maternity portrait sessions much like engagement sessions, just with a bit more emphasis on the bump. 🙂 The photos of my wife and I when she was pregnant with our firstborn are some of my most treasured photographs, and I love capturing them for other moms & dads.
